Action > TrackSup

This action tracks a superposition file and generates the list/excel output of various sources (load case, sup, etc.) making contribution to each result component in the superposition file. A schedule can have as many TrackSup actions and they can be positioned inside a schedule/stage.

The output file for this action contains the final result along with the factorized results for each original load case and/or superposition file.

Setting	Description
Action	Code of the selected Action. It is possible to switch to another action without leaving and re-entering the input function.
Action will be skipped (Option)	The action will be skipped in the calculation process if the option is selected.
Input-1 > RmSet/Superposition file name	RmSet: The RM-Set where the Superposition file input is defined. Superposition file which need to be tracked.
Input-1 > Component	Component of superposition file which need to be tracked.
Input-1 > NPoint	Options to select the location of point in the element which need to be tracked.
Input-2 > Element From	Element number begin which result tracking will be performed.
Input-2 > Element To	Element number end which result tracking will be performed.
Input-2 > Element Step	Element step between element begin and end.
Input-3 > Result Component	'Forces': Force results will be tracked in the local direction. 'Displacements': Displacement results will be tracked in the global direction.
Output-1 > Excel file	Name of the excel file which results will be saved.
Output-2 > List file	Name of the list file which results will be saved.	Note: If the SupTrack action's output parameter is left to its default state, then the list file name will be constructed following these rules: For a defined RmSet: <RmSet name>_track.lst For a defined Superposition file, element series, point and sup component: <Supfile>_track_<component>_<from>_<to>-{Begin,End}.lst E.g. for supfile ELU.sup the listfile name would be ELU_track_MinVx_101-101-Begin.lst
